Besides there are no reactors or mining and production of radioactive sources which may case radioactive pollution there, incidents in foreign reactors may case transfer of radioactive aerosols in air and then pollution of ground. For example 1986 after Chernobyl catastrophe Georgia was polluted by radioactive nucleus. Officially Georgia had little harm after Chernobyl catastrophe because there where not a lot of researches of it. The aim of this work is monitoring of background radiation in Georgia. Radioactive sources, measurement techniques, radiation impact and on biological beings and normal doses are described in this work. Radioactivity was researched at Saakadze Tomb of radioactive contamenats. Me and my co-head of thesis took samples from territory Using mobile laboratory. Mobile laboratory belongs to Georgians Nuclear agency. Also radioactive data has been taken from Geiger-Muller detectors that belongs to different radioactive monitoring organizations. Those detectors are placed in different places of country. To analyze data that was more than 4 million samples program was written in “Java” programming language that averaged data for one day. Graphs were drawn by “OriginLab” program. Also I reviewed radiation monitoring in euro unions countries and more precisely in Romania where I was on trainings and took theoretical and experimental experience.
