Superconductivity is a phenomenon whereby a charge moves through a material without resistance. In theory this allows electrical energy to be transferred between two points with perfect efficiency, losing nothing to heat. That’s why superconductor has wide practical use. Superconducting substance has two main characteristics critical temperature (Tc) and critical magnetic field (Hc). Our experiment’s goal is to produce one of the high temperature superconductor, in particular Bi1.64Pb0.36Sr2Ca2Cu3O10 and study parameters such as critical temperature (Tc), critical current (Ic), crystal structure (XRD).
