The talk will be focused on the processes occurring in the continuous medium of astrophysical disk type objects and accretion phenomenon of the disk matter to the center. Accretion is an energy source of jets and radiation which are generated by disks. Accretion by itself is the result of a variety of processes going on in disks. This diversity is created by the turbulence, initiated and formed due to the disk differential rotation. New possible linear mechanisms for the generation of disk turbulence is discussed and the importance of a specific type of nonlinearity - transverse cascade - for the maintenance of the disk turbulence is outlined.
