When the first website was created in 1991, it was difficult to imagine how far the internet and website visuals could be developed. Over time, as the number of internet and computer users increased, everything improved and evolved. Numerous programming languages have been created to make the work process easier and, most importantly, to give developers more opportunity to get exactly what the designers intended to give to customers. Video games have never lost their popularity in such a large industry, especially the recent success of HTML5 games. HTML5 has everything a game developer needs: an offline asset repository, 2D and 3D graphics, an audio API, and support for all browsers. Due to recent challenges, the use of the PixiJS engine became available in 2013. It is a open source 2D engine used to create animated websites and HTML5 games. It is a very fast running engine and runs on a variety of platforms. It is important that even novice programmers do not have difficulty understanding and using it. They do not need to know anything about the WebGL API in advance, but the PixiJS syntax is very simple and, most importantly, has very good documentation. Due to the research of the reasons for the success of technology, a master thesis was created with the aim of introducing PixiJS to the listener. In addition, the card game Set was performed for the visuals, thus showing the features of the technology and the pros and cons.
