In this thesis axiomatics of the quantization procedure of classical gauge field theories on globally hyperbolic spacetime is considered. Using BV-BRST formalism and Deformation Quantization (Causal Perturbation Theory/Perturbative Algebraic QFT) time ordered products are constructed. Inductive Construction of the n-point functions and aspects of renormalization group flow for some physical relevance models are presented. Introduction of the Peierls brackets is motivated in a new, intuitive way.
